Located alongside the Ohio River in the shadows of the Sherman Minton Bridge, Shawnee Golf Course has long been known as one of Louisville’s most ‘player-friendly’ golf courses. Since 1926, Shawnee has been a Louisville golfer favorite. The par-70 layout plays just over 6,300 yards from the back tees, offering low handicappers the chance to ‘go low.’ Designed by Alex McKay, the course features plush Bermuda tees and fairways, silky-smooth Bentgrass greens, excellent course conditions, and host of the 1932 U.S. Public Links Championship. Also includes a 3-hole junior course and driving range. Home to First Tee of Louisville.
