Seneca Golf Course has been rated the sixth toughest course in Kentucky and voted ‘Best of Louisville’ for several years running, as well as Golf Digest’s 2008-09 ‘Best Places to Play.’ This hilly course rolls through beautiful Seneca Park, with Beargrass Creek winding among numerous trees and zoysia fairways. An 18-hole par 72, Seneca offers tees from 3,792 to 7,017 championship yards. Gary Player won his first American tournament here — the 1958 Derby City Open. Seneca also hosted Hooters Tour events from 1991 to 1997. Facilities include a driving range, chipping green, putting green, and Junior Club program. Opened for play in 1934.
